All the levity on this site, inspired by my aspiring groupie JW, is making me a bit uncomfortable. What amazing heights/depths of whinging, of navel-gazing, of self contemplation, introspection, and examination, are being precluded by the sudden, overwhelming rush of ‘gay’ themed insults? At least I don’t whack off parakeets (or even have one). What highbrow/lowbrow/middlebrow/mickeybrow drama might I be musing on, worrying like a bulldyke^H^H^H^Hdog with a bone? What distinguished web sites of great cultural relevance might I be missing, or au courant trends of the digerati (gag)? Shit, think of the thinking I might get done, if I weren’t fantasizing about that visit to Buenos Aires! Sigh. The weather has been downgraded from ‘luvverly to ‘passable’, but my mood remains alarmingly light-hearted.

Work! That’ll get me somber and serious! I have farkloads of work to do! OK. Didn’t really work. I’ll wear all black tomorrow, see if that helps.

I hate to link to one of those damned aggregating useless fake search engines, but this one’s too funny. The Devilfinder Search Engine – You Searched for unfulfillable – Finding Stuff Since 1979. And of course, as you already knew, it was a tpt vanity search…

Well, I’ve been called worse things, I suppose. All too predictably, I’m afraid, this is going to be a whinging entry; avert your eyes now if you just can’t stand it any more, more. It’s luvverly outside and I’m stuck in here. Ah, fond memories of student days, green bandana, lounging around between the few hours of actual classroom time responsibilities in fine weather. Amazing how little, and how much, there was to do.

I’m feelin old, of late, a rather dissatisfying state of affairs. Not sure why, exactly; I’m getting out regularly, have plenty of alcohol and nicotine in my diet. The money crunch is nothing terribly new, and the proactive approach may resolve something. Assuming I get an email back. Though now, of course, I have to write a damn talk sometime in the next month. Which requires unfettered access to the BL. Which involves not sitting here writing this, if you follow me…

Courtesy Wordsmith:

resistentialism (ri-zis-TEN-shul-iz-um) noun

The theory that inanimate objects demonstrate hostile behavior against us.
Given the ongoing, but dull saga of the iDoorstop, I hardly think it’s a theory.
